Let me share with you all a little bit of JUN history


Established in 1946, we have enjoyed continuing growth based on our consistent approach to developing, designing, manufacturing, and processing parts for internal combustion engines. Domestically, the JUN group is made up of three divisions?racing parts design and manufacturing division, tuning division, and the body repair division. With the establishment of our two overseas bases, we are well positioned to support the racing activities of Japanese cars both domestically and internationally.

1946March Internal combustion engine parts processing started at the Sekimachi factory
1951October Reorganized as Tanaka Industrial Co., Ltd. Manufacture of confectionery machinery and engineering instruments started.
1955Designing and manufacturing of 2-cycle engines and parts for motorcycles started.
1960Designing and manufacturing of 4-cycle engines and parts for automobiles started.
1970Participated in the development of roadway croppers.
1980March JUN AUTO MECHANIC Division set up and manufacturing of race cars begun.
1982Design of large-sized model 3.5 liter engine completed. Participated in drag races.
1985June JUN AUTO WORKS CO., LTD. established as a factory for automotive sheet metal and painting.
1990August Participated in the Bonneville Speed Trial at Salt Lake City, U.S.A.
1991March JUN AUTO MECHANIC CO., LTD. established as a tuning maintenance factory. 1992August Participated in the U.S. Bonneville Speed Trial at Salt Lake City, U.S.A.
1993Miyadera Factory established as the engine parts manufacturing factory. Technical link established with the British company Cosworth.
1995August Participated in the American El Mirage Dry Lake Dirt High-speed Trial.
1996Participated in all rounds of the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship.
1997Participated in all rounds of the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship. JUN AUTO MECHANIC THAILAND established.
1998JUN AUTO USA established. August Participated in the Bonneville Speed Trial at Salt Lake City, U.S.A. September JUN AUTO WEB SITE set up on the Internet.
1999January Exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Salon '98. February Exhibited at the Alesco Osaka Motor Fair '98. Participated in the All American Drag Races with the Silvia.
2000January Exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Salon '99. November Exhibited at the American SEMA SHOW. Participated in the All American Drag Races with the FF Drag Civic.
2001March Participated in the New Zealand public highway high-speed magazine event. July Exhibited at the Singapore Auto Salon. November Exhibited at the American SEMA SHOW.
January Exhibited at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2001. August Participated in the Bonneville Speed Trial at Salt Lake City, U.S.A.
